BRAINERD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, DISTRICT 27 The Biggest Secret on the South Side of Chicago. We are located at 1234 W. 95th Street. On the corner of 95th and Elizabeth Streets. The Brainerd Community Development Corporation was established in 1990 in the Brainerd Community on the South Side of Chicago. This community is bordered by 87th Street to the north, 95th Street to the south, Vincennes Avenue to the east and Ashland Avenue to the west. The goal of the BCDC is to bridge the economical, technical, and social gap in this part of the city. There is a large variety of classes offered to seniors, teens, young children, and everyone in-between who has the time, energy, and desire to learn something new. Some of the classes that are offered include: Proposal Writing, Computer Literacy, Adult Literacy, GED Preparation, etc. See our schedule of classes for complete listings. All of the classes offered at the BCDC are FREE!. You must call to register for all classes. There are other activities at the BCDC besides educational classes.
